Furniture restoration for Perth
Craig's workshop is in Bankfoot, about nine road miles north of Perth on the old A9. Near enough that a broken chair or a ring-marked table needn't travel far.
A restorer on the Fair City's doorstep
Perth has a long furniture history. Hundreds of wrights worked in the burgh in the 1700s and early 1800s, and plenty of what they and their customers owned is still in the town's flats, villas and farmhouses.
When a piece like that gets damaged, you want it mended by someone local who knows auld furniture, not sent away to a city firm.

In Perth? Text a photo first
The quickest way to find out what a piece needs is a text with a few photos. Craig will look at them and get back to you.
Or, in his own words, "feel free to phone for an estimate or just for some advice."
- The whole piece, standing on its own feet
- The damage, close up, in good daylight
- Underneath a seat or the back of a carcase, if you can
- Any maker's label or stamp you find
